@PCAddictsLive ya i did some shopping and seen that acer has a laptop ( not a netbook) that physicaly is almost identical to the D250 but withh a 11.6in screen, and it comes with 7. this way i can get what i want, but a bit more powerfull. and it has HDMI out… perfect for the big screen.

@Jamessharpshooter No problem…. yeah, and I was running some eye candy settings too, so turning them off would give you a little more speed (response from the OS). I prefer “some” of the eye candy though.

@ElDLo really? im surprised it would handle ultimate 7, seeing they can come in XP or starter 7 with starter edition 7. telling me you upgraded to ultimate 7 i feel better. thanks!

Alright thanks.

@JadedWolfResources I don’t have it anymore, so the exact model might be different (even though it looks familiar). Yes, webcam works great, and so does Windows 7 – you will love it!

This is the Acer Aspire D250 1165 from Target correct? I’m getting it today. 299.52$ total :] I already Windows 7 proffesional on my main laptop (Alienware M17x) does the Webcam work on it? I plan to load W7Pro on it.

Awesome! Pretty nice for the price!
January 30th, 2010 at 8:00 am
I did the same with mine the other day. Windows 7 Ultimate is running extremely smooth on mine. I’m upgrading to 2GB RAM soon but honestly there’s no real need for more memory to handle the operating system.

YUPP! – It worked really really well given the price and specs!
January 30th, 2010 at 8:00 am
it even has AERO ENABLED! AWESOME!

I’ll put it this way… if your CPU supports 64 bit, buy 64 bit. Also, I like Pro since I run my home network as a domain rather than a workgroup. Check out the differences between the versions. Depends on what you want really.
January 30th, 2010 at 8:00 am
whats up,
should i buy 64bit or 32bit? i don’t have a netbook but i plan to get one in January, also home premium or professional? which one runs faster on low spec hardware. like a netbook.

No. You have to purchase the Microsoft Office Suite. The operating system (Windows 7 Pro) is just the OS, not including Office.

Sorry for the quality of the video, I recorded this during a LIVE! STREAM. Usually the quality is nice HD if I record it without streaming.

January 30th, 2010 at 8:00 am
hello does the built in mic and the cam work
January 30th, 2010 at 8:00 am
I don’t think you can use the words “Windows” and “works” in the same sentence.
