Toshiba NB100 enter netbook market in Malaysia

has enter the netbook market in Malaysia with the introduction of . is a compact and stylish netbook cater to the expanding netbook market in Malaysia. Targeted at the young generation, the comes with two color, Cosmic Black and Champagne Gold.

featured 8.9″ LCD Display with LED backlight, with native resolution of 1,024 x 600-pixel. The Netbook is powered by Intel Atom Processor and equipped with 1GB of DDR2 RAM. The Operating System of choice for the is Windows XP Home Edition.

is fitted with 120GB Hard Disk drive, and a four cell battery. Other connectivity features such as 802.11b/g Wifi and Ethernet are standard.

As with every laptop and notebook, the is provided with ConfigFree software for managing wireless connection.

Another notable feature of the is its Sleep-and-Charge function that allows users to charge their music player or mobile phone even as their notebook is on standby mode.

    I saw it yesterday and the price is very cheap. Around Rm1.5k. Think i might grab one but im not too sure about the speed.Im not a tech person.All i need is a portable notebook which speed is faster than my old damn desktop

    the price in japan around 40k yen..but the spec is a little bit different because this nb100 is in japan os and the HDD also 160gb instead of 120Gb(malaysia)…i have already got one this stylish portable nb100..unfortunately the keyboard is horrible..too small…
