I saw one of someone playing WoW. But I’m not sure why you’d do that. It probably required some hardware upgrades.
I just ordered one. I’ll probably up the RAM myself for $20 and if the price of SSDs comes down, I’ll eventually increase the capacity. That or I’ll get a large SD card or something. Mine is only 512MB RAM and 8GB SSD. But I can’t wait for it to arrive! They look really cute.

yea but why would you buy a mini (netbook) to play games on????
the screen is only 8.9″ that would suck for gaming dude lol
minis are for mobility and designed to use less power .
so for gaming you need a big power hogging desktop with a good graphix card and at least a pentium 4 for the newer games.

the mini proably wouldn’t be able to play games. NO CD/DVD driveeeee
you’d need to buy an external one for around 50.00

i tried the crystaldisk utility that you showed on your site, and surprisingly my read speeds were just slightly better on average by 1.5 MB/sec.
But the write speeds were terrible, less than 6MB/sec at best, it seems that’s where the bottleneck lies

has anyone tried it? is it really that easy?

Thank you. Is this because of the non-standard signaling that Dell and Asus use on the PCIe slot?
March 27th, 2009 at 11:03 am
Sorry, but these ssds work only on Dell Mini 9 and Asus Eee PCs
March 27th, 2009 at 11:03 am
Will these RunCore modules work in any notebook with a free mini PCIe slot? Is the only difference between the DELL and ASUS cards the maximum capacity and the micro USB port?

He so almost touched the naked board and then thought well its not in a case perhaps I shouldn’t touch anything but the usb cord if your going to use this outside the pc put it in something one grab of that with your hand while its powered up will fry it

It’s not exactly illegal either. It’s just an EULA that says you can’t do it. EULA’s have been proven time and time again in court to be unenforceable. Once you’ve bought the copy of OSX, it’s yours to do with as you please.
