Playing Left 4 Dead in a 42′ Plasma TV via Compaq CQ40-310 HDMI connection. Video and Audio Quality was great; It’s just like having a game console connected with the TV. Just grab a USB gamepad and connect the notebook via HDMI and voila….a portable game console… Note: Compaq CQ40-310AU comes with integrated ATI 3200 graphics. Though reviews and benchmarks say that it cannot run games well enough to be called a gaming laptop, for some reasons (and right settings), It can. It can sure …

Thanks for posting this. Just bought a 42 plasma and ordered the HDMI cables today, getting ready to order wireless keyboard. This looks AWESOME! Hoping the laptop will work when lid closed but can’t try till cables come in. Went into power setting and set to do nothing when lid is closed so don’t see why it won’t work. Thank again.
