(1) Athlon Neo is a K8 based processor.
(2) This platform is codenamed “Yukon” by AMD. The upcoming dual-core version is codenamed “Congo”. (They are also going to use the 780G chipset).
(3) Intel is responding to this platform with their own called Consumer Ultra Low Voltage or CULV. The upcoming Acer Aspire TimeLine series is based on this platform.
(4) Intel’s CULV will be based on ULV versions of Core 2 Duo running at 1.4Ghz…Will come in single and dual-core variants.

Reviewer fails to mention that the DV2’s Radeon 3410 graphics processor is much faster than your basic entry level notebook that would cost about the same. In the end though, I think this unit should be about $100 less than where its at right now.
