Could you start showing an open web browser with tigerdirect’s home page, because after all, if it is a netbook, that is the most important thing to see because that is what it is used for, that and the desktop with icons.

Stupid specs with 512MB RAM and 4GB useable SSD drive and 9″ screen. Rather go for a Asus 1000 series Netbook.

I HATE the term “price point”. 99.9% of the time they could just say price and it means EXACTLY THE SAME.

  9. silverstonewebcam says:

8 GB??? XP takes like 2 gigs and then u only have about 5 gigs left? wat is that about

  10. PowerLinuxUser says:

Who cares about it only being 8gb… just get rid of XP and it’s a winner. I was going to get one of these but it only has 1 usb port which would annoy me to no end.

I thought it was gonna be a HDMI port, then he said it’s nothing.

  12. nikkhoo says:

LOL , ” and believe it or not, see this right here? that is absolute nothing” ROFL

All you need is 4 gbs of ram, the other 4 I’d put down my pants.

Looks pretty good. Specs are QUITE similar to the eee 900, and 901. I like the slightly larger keyboard though. These are NOT for power computing, but they are decent for web browsing or light word processing, or listening to MP3s or watching your downloaded videos. I do like that they are sticking with XP on these.

  22. xoloxum says:

what the fuck? its supposed to have a 10 inch screen

  23. logontomyface says:

Does this mean that this only has 8gb hard drive?

  24. amazinazihn says:

Yea, that thing on the side where he said is absolutely nothing is actually a recessed usb slot. The 1010nr comes with a “hp mini portable drive” basically a special usb stick for that mini slot upwards of 8 gigs. The stick can plug into any usb port on another pc. But yea I have Office 2007 google talk, it comes with aim, winamp (for radio/tv), firefox, a typing game, on top of xp and float just a bit under 2 gigs of mem on the SSD
