Unfortunately I must disagree with your analysis of the keyboard FCN, CTRL, WIN, ALT order. I believe that CTRL should come first as it does cause problems for those of us that are used to desktop keyboards (and have learned to type on them) and for those of us that use our laptops/netbooks for gaming purposes. The MSI wind has the fcn in the corner and I can see that as the only reason why I would ever return the netbook. Could it be that you are more used to the Mac order of the keys?

It’s better than the EEEPC key layout. They placed the right shift key after the arrow keys, which is kind of confusing.

keys are fine, The keyboard hitting the LCD when closed not fine. Keyboard Wavy not True flat. Battery on bottom “NO 9 cells for the MINI” Cheap feeling Mouse buttons I could go on.. The Asus machines feel solid. Yep I own a HP MINI that Im Not real happy with.

wait, so my Sony VGN-CS215J Viao, made a mistake of putting “CTRL” “FN” “WINDOWS BUTTON” AND “ALT”, wait, let me look at my ACER mini, oh what do you know, same as Sony and HP. I think you were mistaken about the CTRL FN being switched. I think you’re speaksing of ASUS EEEEEEEEerrrk

you are telling us that it’s a big mistake of putting the function key between ctrl and windows logo but i think the contrary. My brother has a Gateway laptop where the function key is at the left of the control key and, because i am writing without looking at my keyboard, i am always pressing “fn” when i want to press control and this annoye me so much. so it depends for the type of user. It’s not a mistake, it’s only the fact that you don’t like the fact the buttons are posponed.
