My friend was trying (actually is trying right now) to check if RAM installed in the machine was the culprit of machine broke down. While he was finding a way to open the case, I search for a video and found this one. I guide him opening the case and finally we gave up with me and him laughing of how hard opening the case to access RAM.
Why don’t Acer just make a RAM access cover like a mini PCIexpress cover just side of the RAM.

Its clipped in pretty tight, so go around with your nails, or carefully with a screwdriver and gently open it.

i can’t open the case, after removing the keyboard.
how the hell do you remove the “body” around the orange circle at the screen junction?? it seems i forgot to remove something or i’m doing it badly , dont know..
all around the one was pretty easy, but the junction beween the screen and the body refuse to un-clip, HELP!
you can see it at 1:37 and i can’t do it

Go for the hdd if you plan to run xp etc, the ssd versions are sluggish in xp.
March 28th, 2009 at 10:26 pm
I have a question
would it be better to go with the 160 GB hardrive version or go with the version that has the SSD card slots?
i know the SSD version is cheaper..but is it worth saving a few bucks?

had problems getting the keyboard out in the first place and when I finally didn’t notice if the clips are “inside the keyboard” or “in the netbook itself” tried to bend from the netbook “hole” by F2-key and got a liitle something out. am I doing it right?
