Dell announced a few new products at the Consumer Electronics Show recently. Among them are Dell Wasabi, a tiny new photo printer, and Dell Adamo, a new luxury line of what Dell calls “no-compromise” laptops.

I like that Dell make an effort with their design, even if they do borrow some ideas from Apple. Competition benefits the consumer.

Sleek and black…So her name is Adamo, huh? I’ve never heard that name before.
Joking aside, i would prefer an all-black brushed metal finish instead of the two tone, but it looks pretty good for a non-gaming grade dell.

There was a listing on the dell site for an accessory for the “adamo thirteen”, suggesting that there will be larger models. if there is an “adamo seventeen” which is reasonably cheap, light, and thin, it might just be the thing for me.
