hi, ive got the same laptop, but i want to upgrade the ram as its just to damn slow with vista using a 1gb module. What type of memory does it use so that i can purchase more ram.

i have this laptop and its fine..
i used it for surfing, gaming and used in my studies (IT course).. this computer is ok with games.. i play warcraft III, CS, L4D, and other games using this PC on high quality and it still works fine.. what i feel bad on is the speaker which gives you low sound.. i thought the sound is good cause its altec lansing speaker but the sound really suck..

mine has a webcam. i use this laptop for games such as those from bigfish and quite frankly it can stand on those kinds of games. i tried playing left 4 dead on it and same to what he said, it was very very very slow so i end up uninstalling the game. i found the cd-rom quite noisy when i put a cd and i have no idea what’s wrong with it. over all this lop top is very durable and good for people like me who are just in to surfing, typing and playing not so intense games.

lol i have this laptop and nuffin went wrong with it man its working fine cs:s,hl2,tf2 and day of defeat source all work fine and it hasnt ever broke down this laptop is mint .

Oh, and P.S.
When you mention the “Persario_RP (D:) drive” at 7:50 , that’s a backup partition in case your computer ever dies and you have to restore it.

What the hell are you reviewers talking about? Everyones bitching that this thing is no good, lemme tell ya, I’ve had my C700 for over a year and I love it. I have a ton of PC experience, and run the ENTIRE Sims 2 collection, Oblivion, Half life 2, & WAY too many movies and pictures on this thing- and NOTHING IS WRONG. Maybe I just got SUPER lucky? I can’t even hear the fan, and it doesnt overheat. I’ve never gotten the blue screen; NOTHING has ever broken on it. Learn to use computers people!

This laptop sucks, ive had it less than 10 months and it has broken 3 times, firsts the motherboard fried and cracked, second time The optical laser stopped working and the third time the laptop booted a blue screen of death. Now the webcam has stopped working and it keeps overheating. The temperature is like 80C and goes off at 150C

damn this laptop.
my dad got it for me as a student present from my old comp, but i was saving up for a DIY gaming laptop.
i don’t play a lot of games, but I’m an amateur producer and video editor. This computer spazzes out whenever i try to run sony vegas 9.0.
Btw, the board is NOT overclockable- REPEAT: NOT OVERACLOCKABLE. I’ve considered just swappin out the processor, but the cost for a minor upgrade would be about 1/2 the price of teh whole comp.
It’s just not worth it…

ok, ive had this laptop for about a year, and i hate it. its always overheating, the fan is wayyyy to loud, the touchpad is always messing up, the battery runs out like theres no tommorow. let me tell all of you that are thinking of buying it: DONT GET IT! YOU WILL BE WAY BETTER OFF GOING WITH A DELL!!

My son in law bought it for me. I would have gone with a Dell. When I first got it I went to make the back up disc’s and the thing put everything on one of the hard drives instead. Any ideas how I can fix that without losing everything else? That is my only complaint about this computer.
