2 GB of RAM is good, cause when running overclocked the viedo card gets extra memmory, whitch it takes from the ram. 2 GB ram = 256 mb video card
I had to update the BIOS on my wind to get a stable and good overclock result. Its great now, running 24% overclock!
November 16th, 2008 at 11:24 am
Why upgrading the ram? You only have to buy the 150 with 1GB… …or is this only about the standard One?
Runs the overclocked prozessor save? Only wanna know, didn’t need to overclock because the Aspire 150 is for my girl and she only surfs around…

Why does the guy in the glasses keep looking at the camera (viewers)? He thinks he is some sort of tv favourite but infact he looks very unprofessional.
I have checked out 8 different comparisions between the asus 901 and the acer aspire and the Asus eee wins 6 of them.
ASUS EEE is the way to go in netbook

The New Aspire One, 160gig, 6 Cell, Windows XP… just came out on Amazon in white for $399…u know that’s not gonna last long!!!!
November 16th, 2008 at 11:24 am
3 minutes? lol, a 9-cell battery would give me around 7 Hours. Now TAKE THAT!
November 16th, 2008 at 11:24 am
Ur very right holyandannointed!
But I upgraded my MSI wind to 2 GB ram.. very easy to do!
And yes it came with the Intel Atom 1.6GHz,But I have overclocked mine to 2.0GHz
November 16th, 2008 at 11:24 am
oh good so that gives you… 3 minutes of battery?
November 16th, 2008 at 11:24 am
r u kidding me, of course YES
November 16th, 2008 at 11:24 am
Yeah.. but I upgraded my MSI Wind! With 1 GB ram and I also overclocked the Intel Atom 1.6GHZ prosessor to 2.0GHz.. a 24% overclock!
Upgrading RAM on the Aspire One is WAAAY harder..
November 16th, 2008 at 11:24 am
Yes, it was.
I got the 2006 model, and the personnel of Acer even double checked the report because it was noted that there were only “few light scratches.”
November 16th, 2008 at 11:24 am
well WalMart has them on their website and supposedly in their store.
You can order them online as well.
November 16th, 2008 at 11:24 am
you sure it was feminine careful use?
November 16th, 2008 at 11:24 am
from what I have read the MSI wind has only 1GB RAM
The same GHz as the Acer Aspire One and 120 or 160 GB HD

I bought a Vostro 1510 a few months ago, and it’s caused me no end of trouble – crappy RAM, video out not working, you name it, it’s been broken. I reckon it’s been if for repairs more than I’ve even had it to work on. Wouldn’t reccomend it to anyone.

this pc is a shit! I hate acer, and this is just an acer product: a shit, don’t buy it! I couldn’t make it to work:
1)Linpus linux can’t be used, when you try to update it destroys the system. And the instant messenger installed in it just doesn’t work with new msn protocols.
2)when you try to install ubuntu it doesn’t recognise the microphone and the wifi works after tweaks. Don’t think to use things like hibernate, of course it messes up.
3)moreover upgrading to the linux kernel 2.6.27-9 it does not recognise the ethernet board!! :O
conclusion: just don’t buy it, it’s a waste of money, you don’t need it.

Wow, this was a truly quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good post… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and in no way appear to get something done.
